Yarrow
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a hardy perennial herb in the Asteraceae family. Commonly found in meadows, grasslands, and along roadsides, it’s admired for its delicate, fern-like leaves and clusters of small, white to pale pink flowers that bloom throughout the summer.
Rich in flavonoids and other plant compounds, yarrow has a long history of use for its supportive effects on digestion, circulation, and the body’s natural inflammatory response.
Yarrow tea has a gentle, slightly bitter, herbaceous flavor with subtle floral notes. To soften its natural bitterness, we prefer to blend it with sweeter or calming herbs such as chamomile, lemon balm, rose petals, or other immune boosters – like in our Wellness Blend! Enjoyed hot, it offers a soothing, restorative cup; iced, it provides a refreshing, lightly floral herbal drink.

New Roots was created with breastfeeding parents in mind, especially those looking for a lactation tea without the strong fennel or licorice flavor found in many traditional blends. Milky oats, rooibos, oat straw, nettle leaf, lemon balm, alfalfa, marshmallow root, rose petals, lemon verbena, chamomile, and orange peel create a smooth, softly sweet cup with gentle oat notes, bright citrus, and delicate floral and herbal undertones. While it makes a thoughtful companion for those breastfeeding, New Roots is also a beautiful everyday blend for anyone seeking a moment to nurture, nourish, and replenish—whether you’re caring for a new baby, recovering from a busy season, or simply giving yourself a little extra care.
