Raspberry

Our raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus) is harvested from the red raspberry plant, a hardy deciduous shrub in the Rosaceae family. Commonly found along forest edges and thickets, several parts of the plant are edible. The sweet, vibrant berries are a wonderful snack as you harvest new, silvery-green leaves.

Red raspberry leaves have gentle, toning qualities, and is often used as a supportive herb for women’s wellness throughout all stages of life. The leaves contain tannins, flavonoids, and various minerals, giving them a mildly astringent nature.

Red raspberry leaf tea has a smooth, earthy flavor with a hint of natural sweetness and a light, tannic finish. Often compared to a very mild black tea, it brews into a soft amber cup that’s grounding and easy to sip throughout the day. To brighten its mellow profile, it pairs beautifully with mint, lemon balm, or rose petals. We also pair it with nettle or chamomile, creating a balanced, comforting brew. Red raspberry leaf is part of our Calm and Quiet Mind blends.
